National Level Project Competition open to all
Engineering students and practitioners [undergraduate, postgraduates
(not PhD scholars) and startups]
Eligible Branches of Engineering Studies for
Students: Aeronautical, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil,
Computer/Information, Design, Electrical, Electronics &
Communication, Industrial, Instrumentation, Material Science,
Mechanical, Power, Production and other allied branches.
Eligible Startups: Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EiR)
and Startups with less than two years and incubated at any of the
Technology Business Incubators (TBI).
Entry form for this competition should be
submitted on or before 15 May 2022, 11:59 IST through the
online link given below.
Along with the entry form, a
three minutes video of the working model to demonstrate
the operation of the innovation must be uploaded in Youtube and a YouTube link is to be provided. (For Tutorial Click
A write up of maximum 250 words [pdf format] on
the innovation must be uploaded along with the entry form.
18 entries would be shortlisted for the final
round (six each from UG, PG and Startups).
These selected entries would be given an
opportunity to showcase their innovation through physical
demonstration / presentation during the IMP 2022 event on 20th
A group/team cannot have more than three members.
All three members must be present UG students for
the entries in UG group. At least one member must be a present PG
student and other members must be present UG/PG students for entries
in PG group. Applicants in UG/PG groups must
upload a single file [pdf format] containing certificate(s) of
present studentship of the team members from the appropriate
authority of the respective institutes.
A project of UG/PG students' as a course work may
also be sent as an entry.
From the eighteen shortlisted entries, a national
committee comprising domain experts will select six prize winners.
To and fro railway fare in AC 3 Tier and local
hospitality will be provided for only one team member, if the entry
is selected for the final round. Other team members are allowed to
participate at their own cost.
